When are trips released/announced?
The itineraries are only released one term at a time, but trips will be announced at least 3-4 weeks before the bus trip.

Are non-Mcgill students allowed to purchase tickets?
Due to the fee-levy that students pay, the discounted tickets are only available for McGill students who opt-in.
However, on some trips, sales for non-McGill students will open at the last minute at full price.

What does my ticket include?
Your ticket only includes the bus transportation (two-way, round trip). Our Sponsorships team is currently working at creating partnerships with hostels and hotels for deals on accommodations in the future.

Are one-way tickets available?
Currently, we only offer round trip (two-way) tickets. However, our round trip tickets are still cheaper than one-way Greyhound or flight tickets!
You are welcome to ride the bus one way (please let us know beforehand), but you must still pay the price for a round trip.

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are refundable up to 10 days before the trip departure date. To refund your ticket, reach out to us at mustbus@ssmu.ca.
What kind of bus is it? is there a washroom on the bus?
A charter/coach bus!
There are washrooms on the bus. As for chargers, we can't ensure that every seat have a plug, so we highly recommend bringing your own portable charger.

How many bags are allowed per ticket on the bus?
Each ticket entitles you to one larger luggage (which will be stored in the bus' compartment underneath) and one personal item.
Where is the location for drop off and pickup?
Locations will be specified via the confirmation email prior to your trip.
Typically the departure and arrival locations are the same, and are usually by the Bronfman Building or on Rue McTavish. However, please check your email for the precise meeting point.

How soon should I arrive before the departure time?
For both the outbound and inbound journeys, we ask that passengers arrive at the departure location 15 to 30 minutes before the indicated time of departure (eg. if the bus is scheduled at 10:00am, you must arrive no later than 9:45am). This ensures enough time for ticket verification, ID check, and loading of luggage.
Will there be food/Rest stops along the way?
Longer trips such as New York City trips will have 1-2 stops while the shorter trips vary-- stops are up to the discretion of the bus driver and the passengers.

How can I join the mustbus team?
Our hiring periods are at the beginning of the Fall Semester (first year representatives) and at the end of the Winter Semester (all other positions).
The Winter Semester hiring is conducted via internal elections. However, if any positions are left blank, or if a team wants to expand, we will recruit externally (eg. Junior Operators to assist our VP Operations).
We currently do not have any open positions, but we encourage you to keep an eye out on Instagram and Facebook for future postings!

Will mustbus ever offer its services to Concordia students?
Hopefully, and very soon! Our Institutions team plans to run a MustBus referendum at Concordia University.
